** Software installed by the SUPRA Personal Computers distributor when delivered to the dealer will be installed properly. However, if any additional software or hardware drivers or installed, SUPRA Personal Computers and it’s repair depots cannot be responsible for any changes made to the system. During software and hardware installation, changes are made to key system configuration and registry files. In some cases these changes can result in corruption of the operating system and loss of data, requiring complete reinstallation of all software or restoring from backup. This most often occurs when; (1) installing games or shareware; (2) the person performing the installation is not familiar with the installation process; (3) the software or driver documentation is poorly written or non-existent; (4) the person performing the installation has not carefully read or does not fully understand the software or hardware installation documentation.
*** When exploring system configuration settings always exit by clicking on “Cancel”. Accidentally changing a system setting and exiting the dialog box by clicking on “OK” will cause the changes to be saved to your configuration files. This can result in corruption of the operating system, requiring complete reinstallation of all software or restoration from backup. Never make a change unless the user is completely knowledgeable of the potential effects or has a verified backup. All PC owners should be aware of the importance of a full backup and should maintain a full backup at all times. Before installing any software or making any changes to system files, backup the registry and all other key configuration files.
